A small group of divers at the end of their dive at Twins.
Firedancers can be seen every night on Sairee beach.
This skunk anemone fish (named after the white stripe down it's back) hovers in the protection of the anemone's stinging tentacles at Chumphon Pinnacle.
There's a certain romance to being in the ocean, displayed here by Rob and Tamara at the Nangyuan Drop Off site.
Butterfly fish partner up as juveniles, and for the rest of their lives, will never be more than a few metres away from each other. Here, several couples have grouped together, along with a pair of bannerfish (another type of angel fish named afte the long banner-like tip extending from its dorsal fin).
Even when it rains, Thai people have a ready smile. The atmosphere on Koh Tao is always relaxed and friendly.
Want a dive site with stunning marine life for you to photograph? How about a taxing technical dive with some tricky swim throughs? No? How about a nice deep dive, get up close and personal with grey reef sharks? Or maybe you just want to float around a bit for a nice relaxing dive examining the smaller creatures on the reef? Whatever you need, we can help you find the right dive site for you - just check out our guide, it's the best on the web!

Phannee displays a fish egg that was floating through the water. They have tough protective shells, and it was released unharmed.
White Christmas Tree Worms. These worms live in tubes created in the coral and are named after the filtering apparatus that they extend from the coral. Snap your fingers nearby, and the christmas trees all disappear in a flash.
Grey Reef Sharks can be spotted at Chumphon Pinnacle. Once you've seen them there it quickly becomes your favourite dive site.
Goby fish on guard. Goby fish and shrimps have a symbiotic relationship. The goby can't dig a hole to hide in, and the shrimp, whilst an expert excavator, is blind. The goby fish keeps lookout while the shrimp does the hard work of maintaining the hole in the sand, and may occasioanlly help push larger stones out of the way if the shrimp has difficulty. They're fascinating to watch for a while. In the event of something loud or scary happening nearby, the Goby signals danger, and both shrimp and goby hide themselves away.
Master Divers Resort - Thai bungalows with large comfortable beds, hot showers, and large balconies.
The Valiant - How much fun do you want?
Hermit crabs are fairly common on the sandy areas surrounding the reefs. They don't have a hard shell of their own, so they take up residence in a previously enjoyed shell they find on the reef. Despite the weight of his heavy shell, this hermit crab still managed to run along pretty fast.
Two divers enjoying the awesome swim-through at the Nang Yuan Drop-Off dive site.
Two White Eyed Moray Eels nestling together at Twins.
Seatran Discovery Link offers swift connections to Koh Tao. Whether you're coming from Bangok, Hua Hin, Chumphon, Koh Samui, or Koh Phangan, Seatran can organize rapid, luxury transport at backpacker prices!
